Top 3 Batiste Dry Shampoos

When you have long thick hair like mine, that takes around an hour to wash and dry, dry shampoo becomes your best friend on days when your hair unexpectedly seems greasy and you need to be out the door in 10 min. I try not to rely on it too much, but sometimes you just don't have a choice. So, I thought I would introduce you to my Top 3 Batiste Dry Shampoos.

The XXL Volume

I actually think this one gets rid of the greasy look the best and you can spray it right into the roots without getting any white flakes (just remember to work it through thoroughly). This is great not only for greasy hair days but, also for those days when you just need a bit of extra volume and texture in your hair, it's practically an "instant backcomb in a bottle".

Blush - Floral & Flirty

I love the scent of this one.  This one is a little light weight compared to the XXL Volume, so not for super greasy days, but for the first signs of oil, it's perfect. And again, no white flakes!

Cherry - Fruity & Cheeky

This was the first dry shampoo I ever tried and it will probably remain a firm favourite for a while. Its scent makes me feel a little nostalgic, as it reminds me of the sour cherry sherbet that I used to eat when I was younger. And the packaging is just super cute too!
I wouldn't say that there is much of a difference in what it does, compared to Blush, besides that the scent is different.

So there you have it, my temporary solution in the prevention of a bad hair day. Please share yours.

Lots of Love

xx

  1. I throughly enjoyed this post. I haven't used dry shampoo in ages! I tend to just throw my hair up in a messy bun these days if it's second or third day hair (or I use a bit of talcum powder and comb it through - have you ever tried that)?

This post has made me want to pick up some dry shampoo next time I'm out shopping. I miss the scent of it!

    1. Thank you so much Charlene! Yeah, before dry shampoo I also used talcum powder but I found that it would cake in my hair as the day went on, especially on super hot days! xx

  7. I never use a dry shampoo before. If I really need one, I'd sprinkle baby powder between my roots but this is amazing. I love your bright images, it makes the colors pop :)
