Top 5 Places To Travel After Graduation

I have always been one of those people who say,  "One day I'm going to travel the world, do adventurous things etc." and now that I have graduated, it's that time. Although super scary, it's also sooo exciting.

To travel this year is one of the most important things to me and right at the top of my 2017 To-Do List. I have therefore made an additional list for 2017 of the top 5 places I would love to visit this year.

1. Iceland

Ever since I can remember I have always wanted to see the Northern lights.

Iceland is said to be one of the safest countries to travel to and with a population of just over 300 000, it makes sense that it is known for having a small town vibe. Apart from seeing the Northern lights, there are also some amazing activities such as the geothermic pools, exploring Viking ruins, horseback riding on Icelandic horses, whale-watching and so much more...

2. Scotland

(Image Sorce)
Scotland is pretty much everything any traveller could ask for. It's very safe and with centuries of history, beautiful architecture, a great dining scene, lots of art and culture and lovely green spaces.

One of the major reasons why I want to go to Scotland is for the Enchanted Forest in the Highland Perthshire held annually in Autumn. This stunning woodland is the setting for Scotland's premier sound and lighting event.

3.Ireland

Not only is Ireland home to my fave band, The Script, but it is just absolutely beautiful. It's also a stunning coastal and countryside destination. With charming towns, historic castles, friendly people and lots of interesting history.

4. Greece

(Image Sorce)
The Greek Islands are just the perfect depiction of paradise. Set against stunning backdrops and teaming with ancient history, it's the perfect place for a summer getaway. Travellers flock to these stunning islands for its affordable hotels, friendly people and sandy beaches.

5. Germany

Germany has so much to offer! With its vibrant cities, rich history and beautiful countryside, there is something for every type of traveller. I would love to go to Octoberfest or be in Germany close to Christmas to visit the Christmas markets. I'll just have to brush up on my German before hand...

Hopefully, I can get started with this list soon. I would love to know what some of your top travel destinations are. Maybe I can add a few more to mine...

  12. Iceland is 100% worth the trip, haha! I was there in September, and it was just such a great visit :) Ireland is really nice, as well. The Cliffs of Moher are incredible! As for Scotland, I haven' visited, but a friend of mine grew up in Scotland and she was showing me pictures of the Enchanted Forest - it looks amazing! It's definitely a must-see for me :)

I actually just did like, a top 10 travel bucket list on my blog, but a few of my top picks are the UK, Peru, and Turkey :) Now it's just actually getting there!

  13. All of those places look wonderful to visit. Unbelievably, I've never gotten a passport or been out of the United States, but I love reading about, and seeing the photos from all the bloggers who live in these different places or travel there. Just looking at the photos above makes me yearn to visit. Best wishes for your travels!
