The Yardley by London Loose Powder

Sometimes, it can be such a mission to find a powder that takes away shine but, doesn't add a caked effect or any colour. About a month ago, a friend of mine recommended the Yardley by London Loose Powder and I'm so glad she did! I absolutely adore this product!

It comes in a big transparent jar with a black lid and includes a powder puff. The powder is extremely fine and light. You can either use the powder puff or your own brush to apply the powder. I tend to prefer using a big blusher brush, softly sweeping through the powder and then dabbing it onto my face, usually concentrating on the under-eye area and T-zone.

It doesn't add any colour at all and takes away any excess shine and leaves my foundation set for the rest of the day. It's exactly what I have been looking for. For those of you who prefer a pressed powder, I used to use the Yardley Pressed Powders and loved that too.

The loose powder, though, isn't great if you want to throw it in your bag and use it on the go. It's a bit chunky and there is always the chance you might spill the powder. For on the go, I would rather recommend getting the compact as an alternative. But for the moment, I want something I only have to use once and not worry about it again.

Overall, this is a product that will last me for quite some time, one literally only needs a tiny amount each day, and it does exactly what it should. I will definitely buy it again when it runs out.

Let me know which do you prefer, a pressed or loose powder?

Lots of Love
